About NNR |
NNR stands for Nishi (Western) Nippon (Japan) Railroad and began in Japan as a railroad company in 1908. NNR grew rapidly diversifying into a conglomerate of other industries including transportation (buses, taxi and rail), real estate, travel & leisure, and aircargo. The airfreight division, NNR-Nishitetsu, was established in 1948 and became Japan's first IATA licensed freight forwarder.
Since then NNR has grown to become a Top 20 global freight forwarder with a network of over 100 locations and agents stretched across the global. NNR was also a founding member of the WACO (World Air Cargo Organization) that further supplements our network with long established WACO member agents with specialities in key areas of the world. A pionner in air cargo, NNR continues to grow and provide the highest quality freight and logistics services throughout the industry.
